From mid December through the first week of January we celebrate all three of my sibling's birthdays as well as my sweet mom's birthday. My family means so much to me and I love celebrating all of them. The December birthdays were my sisters. Celeste is my oldest sister by 14 months and is one of my best friends. She is wise beyond her years and is such a wonderful mom. Meredith is three years younger than me and is also one of my best friends. She has a heart of gold and is the most giving person. My brother and my mom's birthday were yesterday and today. Luke is my baby brother and is still as spoiled rotten as the day he entered this world! :) He can make me laugh harder than anyone and has such a kind heart. I will say being the only boy AND the baby, he has been tormented over the years. His wedding last November was no exception. We all walked down the aisle with our blacked out raisen tooth and gave him a big grin as we passed by.
One of my funniest memories about Luke and I was watching the Disney movie Watchers in the Woods one Friday night. (which is one of the scariest movies of all time!) If you have not seen it, there is a blindfolded girl named Karen that appears in mirrors and things saying "help me" in several scenes. Well, I thought it would be funny to tie a tube sock around my eyes and walk into his dark room one night saying "help me". As my punishment, I had to sleep in my brother's room in the top bunk with him until he could a) sleep with his lights off and b) sleep alone in his room. This was a LONG process...apparently I really scared him! :) My mom's birthday is today. She is the best mom in the whole world! We have so much fun eating at tearooms and shopping together. This is now something even my girls love to do with us.
I love and cherish all of my family and loved celebrating the lives of most of them over the last few weeks. Happy Birthday!!

Great post about the family and birthdays. I am cracking up about the Watcher in the Woods story. BAD SISTER!!! (But very funny)That is a very scary movie. After I saw it I created a watcher in the closet in my head. I still to this day have to sleep with my closet door shut. Some how I convinced myself there was a watcher in my closet like in the move. I really don't know how that movie made it on the Disney channel when we were little.

Do you think you'll ever do it again? Thanks for the info.....I love the family post, I have a baby brother too and the sleeping in his room b/c you scared him sounds very familiar! Fun memories of growing up, well fun for us maybe not so much for him. Ha! If your brother is anything like mine, he probably got you back when he stood taller and weighed more than you. How does that happen?
Now, how fun is that to get to know your family?! I never knew you had 2 sisters and a brother - and the raisin pic was hilarious! Happy Anniversary - hope you and Brandon have a special day - just the 2 of you!
